What's new in Amax Connect
We build directly on Stora's API as it evolves, and ship improvements to the product you're already using. Here's what's changed since we launched on the Stora Marketplace, most recent first.
Amax Pulse adds Arrears, Price increases and Leads
Three new tabs, all read straight from Stora and following the location you pick. Arrears shows the overdue balance, how many customers are behind and how long debts have run, with failed payments listed as they happen. Price increases shows the rent rises you have scheduled, the extra monthly rent they add and who has not been sent their notice yet. Leads counts every booking started and not finished, quote request and form that Stora records, shows how many became a deal, and lists the ones nobody has followed up after two days so they are picked up before they go cold. Revenue figures also refresh much faster now, and pick up late changes to older months.
A signing link the moment the booking is done
As soon as Stora creates the rental agreement for a new booking, the thank-you page can show a “Sign your rental agreement” button, so customers sign while they are still on your site. Only the person who booked sees it, and it disappears once the agreement is signed. A branded email with the same link is available too. Both are optional and off by default.
Recovery emails that take payment, and tasks your team can act on
When a booking stalls, the reminder email now takes the customer straight to the payment page for their own order, and the order is kept open long enough for that link to work. The follow-up task raised in Stora carries the same link, the order and the customer’s email, so whoever picks it up has everything in one place.
Your Stora pipeline and your website stay in step
When your team marks a deal won or lost, reopens it or moves it to another stage in Stora, Amax Connect now follows along, so a customer you have already dealt with is never sent a recovery email. You can also choose to be emailed when a customer’s identity check fails or is cancelled, with the reason in plain English, so you can get in touch before move-in day. Availability is more dependable on busy accounts too: if Stora is slow to answer, sizes no longer show as sold out by mistake.
Know which adverts actually fill units
Bookings on their own rarely carry a click ID, campaign or keyword, so it's hard to trace one back to the advert that produced it. Amax Connect now remembers how each customer first arrived at your site and writes it onto their Stora contact and their order. A new Attribution tab then shows which campaigns produced real customers, not just enquiries, using Stora's own record of who became a tenant. Divide your spend by the customer count and you have your cost per let. Capture waits for marketing consent by default, and recognises the common cookie banners automatically.
Live availability, and prices by the week
Your storefront now counts how many units of each size are genuinely free, rather than only showing whether a size is switched on for booking. Sizes running low can show an honest “only 2 left”, and a size with nothing free reads as fully booked instead of quietly taking enquiries. You can also show a second price alongside the main one, so a monthly rate can sit next to the weekly figure plenty of customers actually think in. It only ever shows a price you have set in Stora yourself, never one worked out by dividing, so nothing on the card can disagree with the checkout.
Better information on every enquiry
Your forms can now ask how someone heard about you and what they need storage for, and whether they are booking personally or as a business, with company and VAT details where it applies. Every answer lands on their Stora contact, so your reports fill with what customers actually told you. When somebody already in Stora gets in touch again, anything missing from their record is filled in rather than discarded, and existing details are never overwritten. Repeat enquiries from a familiar phone number are recognised instead of creating a duplicate, and current customers are flagged as such so a second unit is treated as the opportunity it is.
Choose your storefront layout, and smarter group-based filters
Pick the look that suits your site from ready-made layouts: a classic grid, a friendly “Space Finder” that leads with relatable sizes, or a compact list. Switch any time from your dashboard, no code. Visitors also get smarter filters that group your units by what matters (ground or upper floor, drive-up, power and more), read straight from your live Stora data.
Faster, more reliable abandoned-booking recovery
We build on Stora's API the day it updates. The latest release lets us hand customers their real, non-expiring payment link the moment a booking stalls, and detect an abandoned booking instantly instead of waiting on an hourly check, so recovery happens sooner, on the actual order they started.
Amax Pulse launches: occupancy intelligence for your Stora account
A companion product to Amax Connect on the same Stora connection. Amax Pulse tracks physical and economic occupancy across every site, shows demand and net absorption, and gives you clear, ranked actions on what to do next to fill more units.
CRM pipeline: every enquiry and booking becomes a deal you can track
Every enquiry, waitlist signup and abandoned booking now opens automatically as a deal in your Stora CRM, moves stage as it progresses, and raises a task so nothing falls through. Win or lose, you'll always know where it stands.
Live availability and pricing, the instant it changes in Stora
Amax Connect now listens for live updates from Stora. When a unit becomes available, gets reserved, or its price changes, your website reflects it immediately, rather than waiting for a cache to expire.
Capture a lead before the booking is even finished
An opt-in setting captures a visitor's name and email as soon as they start a booking, before they've paid. If they don't finish, you've still got a contact to follow up with, not a lost visitor.
Amax Connect approved on the Stora Marketplace
Our first stable release: live availability and dynamic pricing with location-aware unit cards, a “what size do I need?” helper for undecided customers, accessible and translatable booking flows, and native on-site booking that syncs straight back to Stora.
